Indy Lakes pay lakes and RV campgrounds: I do not recommend fishing at Indy Lakes on the Indianapolis south side. There has been a dispute over the catching of a catfish, and the pools they run at Indy Lakes.
This angler did catch a winning fish, but after they told him he had won, they would not pay out !!! They even figured up how much he had won, then refused to pay out.
That angler was me, and I do not recommend anyone go there. I feel like I was lied to and cheated, they did say I had won !!! sam

I have also seen, and have heard of a few other complaints about this sort of thing happening to other anglers who fish at this pay lake.
I have heard (hear-say) that conditions at this lake keep going down-hill. The only good thing I've heard from others is that the fellow that keeps this place clean has been doing an excellent job. He works his ars off and is one of the best things thats ever happened to this pay lake. I say give him a big raise James and make a web cam out of all those cameras you've got up there !!! Everyone could watch and see if there's really any big fish in there ! Unless maybe you've got something to hide !!!
If they do this to you, please feel free to file a complaint with the Indiana State Attorney Generals office at: http://www.in.gov/attorneygeneral Likewise if you see a health factor such as stinking, nasty restrooms, people urinating in the grass, lots of dead fish floating in the water, health violations and such: Please contact:
